Why I chose WIB: I fell in love with RCWIB at the very first Women’s Leadership Symposium (WLS), where I was inspired by all the successful businesswomen. I became involved with the executive team the following year as VP Administration because I feel our organization is essential in the Rotman Commerce community. Now, as President, I aim to make sure each student attending one of our events feels how I did at my first WLS.
Interests: In my spare time I enjoy bike riding, reading, skiing, and volunteering.

Why I chose WIB: In my first year, I attended the first Women’s Leadership Symposium hosted by WIB. I instantly fell in love with the Conference and the student group. I decided I would join the organizing committee next year to be able to be part of such a unique organization. So I joined the organizing committee for WLS and this year I became the Co-Chair of the Women’s Leadership Symposium Conference. RCWIB has given me an amazing opportunity to network with professional women from different industries. It also allows me to support my fellow Commerce students by giving them valuable networking and professional development opportunities. Women in Business inspires students through various events to catch their dreams and excel in the pursuit of their future career. This is why WIB is such a crucial group in the Rotman Commerce community and I am proud to be a part of it.
Interests: I love dancing! I have tried many styles over the years such as Ballet, Contemporary, Jazz, Sevillanas, Salsa, Argentine Tango, etc. But my favorite would be Belly dancing! I have been doing it for 10 years now. Apart from dancing, I am also interested in paddling. Right now I am part of the Rotman Commerce Liquid Assets Dragon boat team. This year we won first place at the Centre Island International Dragon boat festival.

Why I chose WIB: I chose to join RCWIB because I feel that it is a necessary student organization within the Rotman Commerce community. With approximately half the population of Rotman Commerce being females, RCWIB effectively caters to their needs by inspiring young women through various events. Students who are looking for career directions or networking opportunities that are not apart from the 3 specialization streams can definitely find the support they need here. I also appreciate the friendships the support that I have found through fellow members and alumni. RCWIB has also given me many different opportunities to learn from various professional women who have willingly devoted their time to share their experiences. Mainly, I want to be a part of RCWIB because I know that this student organization has and will continue to strongly influence and support students within its community and beyond.
Interests: I would love to work in the fast-paced advertising industry. However, my interests also expand to public relations and special events. I enjoy reading historical fiction novels in my spare time and volunteering my time to charities. Also, I love any type of water activity such as sailing, swimming or canoeing. Ultimately, my dream would be to travel the world, and spend at least one month in each country.
